Homework, Friday 21st of September



Hi everybody. Welcome to our Blog. I hope you enjoy learning this year by doing some research on your own.

For example, you must have clear for tomorrow's class the difference between a proverb and an idiom. You can find some links to help you on the right side of the Blog.

You must also choose one of each (one idiom and one proverb) and explain the meaning.

    Proverb:An apple a day keeps the doctor away

    Riddle: An inmate is forced to enter one of the three rooms, but he can choose which room. The first room is lit with fire. The second is equipped with explosives that will fire as soon as it enters. The third contains a couple of lions that haven't eaten in years. What room should I choose to survive?
    The third room, any lion that hadn't eaten in years would be dead!
